Sunny Largs was the venue this year for the Alba Ultrasound Team Building Day – “Pirates of the Cumbrabean”. This year we were joined by some of our colleagues from R2Sonic for a pirate-themed scavenger hunt, and a sailing lesson aboard three 40′ yachts on the Firth of Clyde between Largs and the isle of Cumbrae.
Once again, the event was a fantastic success, showing how employees across all aspects of the business can work together in a fun environment to strengthen bonds across the entire team and learn new skills.
This year’s winning team was treated (in true pirate fashion) to a bottle of Kraken rum, and the night was rounded off with a fabulous meal and dancing to a live band. Captain Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones even made a surprise appearance! As this event goes from strength to strength, who knows what adventures next year will bring.
